Lightning Killed More than 300 Reindeer

I just came across this NYTimes story about a lightning strike that killed over 300 reindeer huddling together during a storm in Norway in 2016.

Now the area is being studied to see how life emerges from death.

Looking at the footage, I find myself completely awed. Nature. I am not disgusted or grossed out. Just awed. Completely blown away at the thought, let alone the sight. I find it mysteriously beautiful.
